About:

Sophie Ruiz’s work is an integration of her passion for art, horticulture, sustainability, and education.

As a multidisciplinary artist, she has many creative expressions such as landscape design, interior design, photography, painting, and sculpting.

She utilizes all four elements (earth, air, water, fire) to create ceramics which evolves to be the ultimate expression of her spirit. Working with clay gifts her the ability to stay grounded and build an intimate relationship with Mother Earth.

As a high school art teacher, Sophie deeply values teaching the importance of art education + creative expression to the youth in her community.

She is based in Encinitas, California.
